 I am practicing rounding money to the nearest dollar. If there is fifty cents or more than you add 1 dollar and get rid of the cents. If there is forty-nine cents or less than you keep the number the same but take away the cents.

 Today I watched a Brain Pop Jr video and I learned about counting coins. Every coin is worth a different amount of money. We have pennies dimes quarters and nickels in America. those are the most common coins. When you are counting different kinds of coins you start with the biggest ones first. When you have a lot of one kind of coin you can skip count to count even faster. I'm glad about what I learned and I think it will help me in real life.

Social studies submission 2

PLG : History I am learning about  the history of Ancient Egypt. They have Pharaohs and their last pharaoh was Cleopatra. Egyptians used to use hieroglyphs to read and write. I am glad that we don't use hieroglyphs because it would take so long to draw all those pictures out.
