PLG:  Life Science


 I watched a documentary today about sea lions and learned a few new things. All the sea lions look alike so it's hard for a baby sea lion is theirs. The way they remember it is they know their moms voice and smell. Touching their noses begins their bonding and they stay side by side for weeks. Baby sea lions can find their feet when they are only three hours old! I think sea lions are unique and I want to go see them in person!

 Today I watched a Brain Pop Jr video and I learned about counting coins. Every coin is worth a different amount of money. We have pennies dimes quarters and nickels in America. those are the most common coins. When you are counting different kinds of coins you start with the biggest ones first. When you have a lot of one kind of coin you can skip count to count even faster. I'm glad about what I learned and I think it will help me in real life.

Social studies submission 2

PLG : History I am learning about  the history of Ancient Egypt. They have Pharaohs and their last pharaoh was Cleopatra. Egyptians used to use hieroglyphs to read and write. I am glad that we don't use hieroglyphs because it would take so long to draw all those pictures out.
