PLG : FOUNDATIONS OF MULTIPLICATION AND DIVISION


I am learning about combining groups of the same number a lot of times to figure out multiplying if I have a group pf five fruits seven different times its the same as five times seven because its a grop of five but seven times in a row. its hard to explain.

 Today I watched a Brain Pop Jr video and I learned about counting coins. Every coin is worth a different amount of money. We have pennies dimes quarters and nickels in America. those are the most common coins. When you are counting different kinds of coins you start with the biggest ones first. When you have a lot of one kind of coin you can skip count to count even faster. I'm glad about what I learned and I think it will help me in real life.

Social studies submission 2

PLG : History I am learning about  the history of Ancient Egypt. They have Pharaohs and their last pharaoh was Cleopatra. Egyptians used to use hieroglyphs to read and write. I am glad that we don't use hieroglyphs because it would take so long to draw all those pictures out.
